Context Sensitive Solutions TrainingPlanning Communities principal Teresa Townsend is a facilitator and instructor for the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Context Sensitive Solutions Training through Center for Transportation and the Environment. This in-depth training covers CSS for all phases from transportation planning, project development, and design, through right of way, construction, and operations and maintenance. The CSS course emphasizes the partnerships needed with the public, interest groups, agencies, political leaders and others to develop Context Sensitive Solutions and equips participants to undertake this collaborative, multi-disciplinary process.
