Ann Steedly, PE Chief Operating Officer

Ann helps people connect and work together effectively. Her technical engineering and planning background combined with strong communication skills enable Ann to make positive connections between communities and infrastructure planners to enhance project outcomes. Ann has extensive experience in the NEPA/regulatory environment, analyzing community impacts and evaluating indirect/cumulative effects. She has proven success providing public outreach and impact assessments for nationally prominent projects with high levels of public interest. Ann works to create strong links between communities and the institutions that serve them. Her outreach and facilitation skills help multidisciplinary teams collaborate with agencies, elected officials and the public to frame issues, develop solutions and evaluate their effectiveness. Ann supports the concept of community-based planning as a way to achieve positive community outcomes and efficient and effective governance. Ann’s mantra: “Namaste.” Mother of a two-year old, Ann is always busy with an activity. When she does get the chance to pick the activity, you might find her on a hike or quiet walk, practicing yoga or meditation, or smacking a ball around on a tennis court. She likes to travel and soak in the culture and beauty of new places. Ann's interest in communicating extends to a love for languages; she enjoys reading and conversing in Spanish and studying Italian and German.
