Karen is a champion in advocating community well-being. As a Senior Planner for Planning Communities, LLC, Karen brings over seven years in creating sustainable transportation and community solutions through her transit development, scenic highway studies, community/socio-cultural effects studies, project development and environmental/NEPA work. Karen is able to create a package that works for the client and the communities impacted at large. Her background in public involvement combined with her outstanding planning, project management expertise ensures that the best planning practices are upheld. Karen’s passion is in creating transportation solutions that work for people and the environment (natural and built). Using the best technology, research and resources, Karen finds creative, innovative and sustainable solutions that meet NEPA and other agency standards. Karen’s mantra: Where there is a will there is a way. Whether it is an art show, picking up trash in the waterways, moving endangered turtles or listening to an outdoor concert, Karen is passionate about being involved with and proactive in her community. |
